Terms of service

StatGrades is a football statistics and analysis site. We publish grades, projections, betting lines and computer-generated predictions. We do not take bets, hold money for bets, or send you to a sportsbook. Nothing here is financial, investment or betting advice, and no projection or pick is a guarantee. If you act on what you read here, the outcome is yours.

StatGrades (statgrades.com and our mobile app) is operated by StatGrades Media LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company. “We”, “us” and “our” mean that company; “you” means you.

By using the site, creating an account or buying a membership, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Everything on this site is information and opinion derived from public data. In particular:

• Not advice. Grades, projections, rankings, start/sit calls, trade suggestions and betting picks are not financial, investment, tax or professional advice, and not a recommendation to place any wager.
• Not a sportsbook. We never accept, place, transmit or hold a wager or anything of value for a wager. Odds are displayed for information. We are not an agent of any sportsbook, and a line shown here may be stale or wrong — always check with the book before betting.
• Estimates, not guarantees. A projection is a model's best guess. A published record of past results does not predict future results. We do not promise that you will win, profit, or break even, and we make no claim about anyone's returns.
• Computer-generated. StatGrades AI Picks (from StatGrades AI and the StatGrades model) and roster advice are produced automatically by statistical models and large language models. They are published without a human reviewing each one, and they can be confidently wrong. We label which is which.
• Independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the National Football League, any NFL team, any sportsbook, or any fantasy platform.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Betting-related content is intended only for people who are of legal gambling age in their jurisdiction — 21 or older in most of the United States — and only where sports betting is legal. It is your responsibility to know the law where you are.

Please do not use the betting sections of this site if you have enrolled in a self-exclusion or responsible-gaming programme, or if you are a player, coach, official, team employee or anyone else prohibited from betting on the sport you are reading about.

• Give us a real email address you control, and keep it current — it's how we reach you about your account.
• Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account, so tell us promptly at [email protected] if you think someone else has access.
• One account per person. Accounts and memberships are personal and not transferable; don't share your login or resell access.
• You can close your account at any time by writing to [email protected].

Most of StatGrades is free. The paid membership, All-Access, is intended to cost $12.99 per month. The current price and what it includes will be shown before you pay, and that description is the description of the service.

• Automatic renewal. A monthly membership renews automatically each month, charged to your payment method at the then-current price, until you cancel. We tell you the price and the renewal interval before you pay.
• Cancelling. Cancel any time from your account page, or by emailing [email protected]. Cancelling stops future charges; your membership keeps running until the end of the period you've already paid for. We won't make you call anyone or wait on hold to cancel, and we won't make cancelling harder than signing up was.
• Refunds. If you're not happy with a membership, write to us within 14 days of your first payment and we'll refund it. After that, payments already made are not refundable, except where the law says otherwise.
• Price changes. If we change the price of a membership, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies to you, so you can cancel first. The new price never applies to a period you've already paid for.
• Payments. Card payments are handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
• Failed payments. If a payment fails we may retry it and may suspend member features until it clears.

Use the site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don't:

• Scrape, crawl, bulk-download or systematically copy the site, or access it with automated tools, except a search engine obeying our robots.txt.
• Republish, resell, redistribute or syndicate our grades, projections, picks or records — including reposting picks to a group chat, Discord, paid community or your own site.
• Get around a paywall, rate limit or member check, or share member content with people who aren't members.
• Use the site or its output to train a machine-learning model.
• Attack, overload or probe the site or its infrastructure, or try to reach data that isn't yours.
• Break the law with it, including gambling where it isn't legal or where you aren't old enough.

We apply rate limits to keep the site up for everyone. If your usage threatens the service or these rules, we may throttle, suspend or close your account.

The site itself — its design, code, text, our grading system, our projections and our models' output — is owned by StatGrades Media LLC and protected by copyright. You may read it, and share a link or a short quote with credit. Everything in the list above stays off-limits.

The underlying football data isn't ours and we don't claim it. Player and team statistics come from nflverse under CC-BY 4.0; live scores, injuries and betting lines come from third-party feeds; fantasy league data comes from the platform you connect. Team names, logos and marks belong to their owners and are used to identify teams, not to suggest any endorsement. If you own a right in something published here and believe it shouldn't be, write to [email protected] and we'll look into it promptly.

When you connect a fantasy league, we read your league from that platform's public API, and your use of that platform stays governed by its own terms. We link to other sites, including odds and analysis sites; those links are for convenience, we don't control what's on them, and we're not responsible for them. We don't earn a commission for sending you to a sportsbook.

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy. We don't promise the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that the data will be accurate, complete or timely, or that a pick will win. Live data arrives from third parties and can be delayed, wrong or missing.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or twenty US dollars. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limits, so parts of this may not apply to you; where a limit isn't allowed, our liability is limited as much as the law permits.

You agree to indemnify and hold StatGrades Media LLC harmless from claims, losses and reasonable legal fees arising from your use of the site in breach of these terms or of the law.

You can stop using StatGrades whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, abuses the service, or exposes us to legal risk; if we close a paid account without cause, we'll refund the unused part of what you paid. We may add, change or discontinue features, and if we retire something a membership was largely for, we'll refund the unused part of your term.

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights or what you're paying for, we'll email account holders and update the date at the top before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new terms.

Please email [email protected] first — nearly everything can be sorted out that way, and we'll work with you in good faith for 30 days before either of us starts anything formal.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Wisconsin for any dispute that isn't resolved informally, except that either of us may bring a claim in small-claims court. Nothing here takes away a consumer-protection right you have under the law of the place you live.

If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our not enforcing something straight away doesn't waive it. These terms, plus the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the site.
